AHDI-FL is having their next regional meeting hosted by the Space Coast Chapter on September 9, 2017, at Palm Bay Hospital in Palm Bay, FL. "Follow Your Heart" is the theme for this fall symposium with 4 speakers beginning at 9:00 a.m. More details will be provided as the date gets closer so check our website and be looking for updates via email soon. Central Florida Chapter Meeting on September 16, 2017

LOCATION: Florida Hospital Center for Diagnostic Pathology. The first floor conference room has recently moved to a new location (still on the first floor) and it offers more space for attendees. ADDRESS: 2855 N. Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL 32804. Parking is available on the pharmacy side of the building.

TIME: Registration and networking begins at 9 a.m. with coffee and light refreshments, meeting begins at 9:30 a.m.

SPEAKER FOR SEPTEMBER 16: Tammy Lee Dippenworth, Doctor of Oriental Medicine: Honors Graduate from Florida College of Integrative Medicine. She is a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture, and Chinese Herbs. She is also a board member of the Florida State Oriental Medical Association. She has had extensive study in Beijing, China. TOPIC: This presentation is Acupuncture and its Ancient History and how it Benefits us Today! Chinese medicine is the oldest and most widely used system of medicine in our history. Learn about the principles of internal balance and harmony. You will learn about Qi, and the balance of Yin and Yang. Also, included will be the Six Evils that can alter your balance, and the Seven Emotions that can cause illnesses. Traditional Chinese Medicine is focused on renewing your body without all of the side effects of medication. This is a presentation that you will want to attend! This presentation has been approved by AHDI for 1 Complementary Medicine Credit (CoM).
